I cannot figure out row 44, every time I’m on the corners I’m always one stitch short even though my count is spot on. What am I doing wrong? I’ve also been referencing the written guide but I’m completely stumped.

Thank you so much! I was getting really frustrated with round 19 as it said 15 stitches on the pattern but overall stitch count of 192, so the math wasn't mathing on the pattern 😂

I love ur tutorials, but i will say i get confused when you talk abou stitches, you often talk about certain parts of the stitch when in reality your referring to the previous stitch, so it makes a little confusing.

I am considering learning to knit just for this. Do I need to flip this video as a left-handed? Is this a good pattern to learn how to knit? I am a crocheter.

In the schematic (right handed) I find the arrow for square 5 a bit misleading if we are working from top to bottom and then to the left (just like with the other squares) and not starting at the bottom left and working up like the arrow indicates.

I’m on round 66. In the video, you state that there should be 10 popcorn per section but mine needs 11. I found in the file I downloaded, it also said 11. Now I’m wondering whit impact this will have on the rest of the project. Any help would be much appreciated.

wahhhh, im using superfine yarn and a 2.5mm hook, these backpost treble crochets make me wanna cry, the yarn keeps slipping off my hook

I crocheted first couple of rows on a 3.0mm hook but am finding it really tricky to get through the back loop. My sides were only measuring about 80 mm so can only assume my tension was way too tight (although I guess that might change a bit as the square grows). Am going to try again with a 3.5mm hook to see if that’s any better. Usually I just crash on with a project regardless of tension and then regret it down the line! There is a mistake in the pdf uk on the first row. Row 1 (RS) 1dc in second ch from hook (sk ch does not count as st throughout), 23dc, dc3tog, pm in dc3tog, 24dc, turn. [49 sts] do you see where is says 23 dc instead of 24?
